Starting his professional animation career in 2009, Raashid has become a skilled 2D and 3D animator/rigger with an unusually balanced creative and technical mind. With experience studying and working both locally and abroad, his studies range from Computer Science to Design & Technology. Working for companies like the Caribbean Examination Council (CXC), Big Jump Entertainment, and Jam Filled Entertainment. He also played a key role in developing TVET’s National Vocational Qualification Level II & III Criteria in Animation and went on to be Barbados’ first Assessor for Animation. Raashid formed his company, ifillium in 2015 and was contracted to create the AALI curriculum under the IDB Lab project.
Alex began his journey in the animation industry from his homeland, Barbados, in 2012. Since then, he has developed his skills through several amazing experiences working for major animation studios such as Big Jump and Jamfilled in Canada specializing in 2D character rigging. He has 10 years of experience and has rigged and supervised builds on Inside Job, Black-ish, Trailer Park Boys, Dorothy and The Wizard of Oz, Dallas & Robo, Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs, People Watching, and many more.
Cherisse started her career in animation in 2011. She received training and mentorship from certified animation tutors at ToonBoom in order to start honing her skills. With an Associate's Degree in Fine Arts/Visual Arts, she was able to take her studies into the world of animation and enhance her skills while working as a 2D animator and character designer. Going on to work on productions for local, regional, and international clients. She has worked on shows such as F is for Family, Chomp Squad by Hasbro, People Watching, Trailer Park Boys, Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz, and Wolf Joe.
Molly holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Arts 2D/3D Animation and has seven years in the industry. Specializing in 2D Animation with a passion for the Chuck Jones style. Since graduating, she has been working in studios such as Big Jump and Atomic Cartoons Ottawa animating on shows such as Last kids on earth Book, Curious George ‘Go West, Go Wild, and Angry Birds. Her talents also go beyond animation as she has strong skills in rigging characters on shows like Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz and Trailer Park Boys, Chomp Squad.
Aisha was hired by the Caribbean Digital Media Company (CDMC) in 2012 as a trainee. There she was taught 2D Animation in Toon Boom Harmony and eventually went on to lead the Animation Team for T.A.L.E.N.T through local, regional, and international projects. She has worked remotely for studios such as One World Animation, Big Jump Studios in Canada, WildBrain, and Driver Studios in the USA. Throughout her ten years in the industry, she has overseen and animated projects such as People Watching, Rick & Morty, Brum, Dallas & Robo, The Grimes, and Baby Einstein’s The Sandbox and Ocean Explorers.
